IT Infrastructure Engineer - Systems Operations (SAP S/4HANA & SAP Solution Manager)
What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer – Systems Operations for our 24x7 Integrated Operations Center, monitoring critical IT services, validate business impact, drive end to end situation management and service restoration. Your key focus areas are on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Solution Manager working across the service delivery lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement, and/or maintain multiple system components or applications. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on multiple platform and applications.

What does the role involve?
As an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer, you identify and analyze business requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on customer needs and strategic requirements.
You are responsible to perform the administration and operations of SAP systems, especially on SAP S/4HANA systems and SAP Solution Manager, the associated components, and 3rd party tools such as Atomic UC4. You are expected to provide technical support up to L2 level of problem complexity.
System availability and performance are important to Hilti businesses and you are expected to generate, to analyze and to present relevant reports to management up to C level. You should be able to address questions and concerns based on your vast experience during the presentation.
This role also involves leading incident management via a war room approach, for whole Hilti’s Global IT community. You are required to initiate, facilitate and drive war rooms for high priority incidents until resolution through collaboration with internal and external IT and business partners. You also ensure all stakeholders are well informed throughout the process.
Outside the day-to-day tasks, you are capable to take additional responsibilities as technical lead for projects in designing and implementing solutions.
Lastly, as one of the senior team members, you always mentor other team members and assist in internal documentations.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT and/or Business Administration with Cumulative Grade Point Average > 3.0
- At least 6 years experiences with SAP Netweaver and SAP Solution Manager
- At least 2 years experiences in SAP S/4 HANA with involvement in 2+ of full life cycles of SAP implementations and 2+ years of support
- Familiarity with SAP Basis, managed service, and authorization concepts; and ability to perform root cause analysis on SAP S/4 HANA issues
- Leadership and project management experience preferable
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
