Cyber Security Project Manager
What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Cyber Security who can manage complex cyber security projects to contribute to our ambition to build the industry leading Security Operations Center. You will strongly contribute to the implementation of our Cyber Security strategy, which is essential to protect Hilti’s business against any Cyber-attack.

Global IT within Hilti is a truly global team with main hubs in Buchs (Switzerland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Plano/Tulsa (USA). All locations have highly competent teams who work very closely together. Hilti`s Global IT team is known for their focus on sustainable value creation by translating latest IT innovations into value creating solutions & services and this is also the home of the Chief Cyber Security Officer Organization.
What does the role involve?
You will report to the Global Head Security operations Center. From our office in Kuala Lumpur, you manage projects to implement new security tooling and services as also improvement projects.
You are the chairman in the Steering committee of the projects and prepare these meetings thoroughly. You are responsible for the project budget, resourcing and planning and utterly for the on-time delivery of the project results according to the agreed budget and quality.
You work in an international team with people from the Security Operations Center and the Global IT teams.
Together with the Product Owner Cyber Defense and the Global Head SOC you translate the security roadmap into projects and make the budget and resource planning for these projects.

What you need is:
For this position, we are seeking a highly motivated project manager that can run complex security projects together with global teams located
around the world. You are a result driven project manager and able to motive people in the team. You think in solutions, not in problems and you
know how to benefit from the steering committee in order to achieve the desired results.
You are self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work both independently in a matrix as well as in a global team. With your extensive experience
as project manager combined with your interpersonal skills and expirience in the fiels of cyber security, you can beat every deadline.
If you combine a strong analytical skillset with knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art cyber security technology and processes, and with
excellent oral & written communication skills, you are exactly what we are looking for.
- BSc/MSc degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering or a related technical discipline related to information
security, or computer network defense
- 5+ years’ proven project management experience, including project and resource planning, budgeting and reporting to steering committees at senior management level.
- Experience with global and international teams
- Experience with Cyber security projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well balanced, adaptive communication style; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms to Senior management and security specialists
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
Good to have
- Working experience in the manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with multi cloud environments
- Previous exposure to IoT or OT
- Knowledge of NIST and SANS incident response frameworks and best practices
- A thirst to learn and challenge yourself
